Latest Everton news as manager Sean Dyche briefs the media ahead of Saturday's clash against Brighton & Hove Albion
Everton boss Sean Dyche will be hoping his side can make it four wins from their last five outings this weekend, as they prepare to take on Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League.
The Seagulls themselves have endured an up-and-down start to the season, with their most impressive result a 3-1 away win at Manchester United back in September, although they were beaten 6-1 by high-flyers Aston Villa at Villa Park just over a month ago.VERDICT: What Sean Dyche did in 68th minute spoke volumes about Everton win over Burnley
''He is certainly working hard, he is working hard in training,'' Dyche began. ''We wanted to try and free him up in the role we played him in last night, but it is not easy when you are in and out of the side and you get put back in. But he is certainly working hard to adapt to the team.
''It is quite a healthy pool they have been shopping in!'' began the former Burnley boss. ''I think we are looking at the best way of recruiting. They cover a large of part of the planet, I think I am right in saying that. Matt Benham at Brentford has done a very similar thing, they have been doing that for a very long. They know and we know they have made some mistakes along the way, but it has taken them a very long time to get to where they have got to.
