A four-day yellow heat health alert has been issued for most of England while in Scotland temperatures are set to hit up to 26C.
Scots have been urged to have fun but stay safe as the country swelters in the hottest temperatures of the year so far.
The warm spell has seen expert warnings on how people most vulnerable to heat should keep themselves safe. "But UV levels are going to be high and the sun will be very intense.
