Angus Council shared a picture to Facebook showing the extent of the damage, which showed the roof almost fully ripped off on one side of the building.
Burnside Nursery will also be temporarily relocated to Carnoustie Early Learning and Childcare Centre from Tuesday 21 February. An initial assessment has been carried out and confirms that the building is not safe for children and staff to attend in its current condition.
