The incident took place between October 13 and 14 when thieves broke into the shed and made off with electrical garden tools and two toolboxes.
It is believed the theft took place overnight or in the early hours of Saturday morning on McDowall Drive.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "A theft by Housebreaking occurred between 1700 hours on 13/10/2023 and 1030 hours on 14/10/2023 at a shed at McDowall Drive, Stranraer.They added: "If you have any information about the above information, please phone 101 quoting PDG0203821023."
