Parts of the country could see more flooding following the destruction of Storm Babet.

Scots will have to pack the umbrella once again this week as more rain is on the way sparking fears of further flooding.

The new alert will begin at noon on Thursday, October 26 and will last until Saturday, October 28 until noon. Rainfall accumulation will widely reach around 30mm, with 50-70mm likely on higher ground. Forecasters have warned of possible flooding that could lead to transport delays. This could lead to difficult driving conditions and may cause delays or cancellations for trains and bus services. There is also a small chance homes and businesses could become flooded, resulting in structural damage.
