A scooter rider has been hospitalised after being attacked by a "Staffordshire bull terrier-type" dog in London Colney . Between 4pm and 4.30pm on Friday (March 15) the man had been riding his scooter along Reed Close when he was approached by another man with a dog off its lead. Hertfordshire police have appealed for witnesses and information. PC Sarah Maitland-Lauderdale said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and I am appealing for any witnesses to please come forward.
