Liverpool kept hold of Mohamed Salah, this summer, despite interest from Saudi Pro League champions Al-Ittihad
Saudi Pro League director of football Michael Emenalo has claimed that "no doors" have been closed on their interest in Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.
Throughout the transfer window, Liverpool maintained a firm stance that the Egyptian was not for sale and retained Salah's services despite clubs in the Pro League being able to do business seven days after Europe's window closed. Reports suggest that Salah could be subject to another approach in January or next summer with the Saudi Pro League looking to establish their competition among the elite.
"First and foremost, Mohamed Salah is one of the best footballers on the planet, Arab or not, he's a phenomenal football player," he told Sky Sports.
