Two comedians with Cleveland connections are headed to “Saturday Night Live.” Molly Kearney and Marcello Hernandez have been added to the show’s cast of featured players.
Molly Kearney and Marcello Hernandez will be joining the cast of "Saturday Night Live" for the show's upcoming 48th season starting October 1.CLEVELAND, Ohio -- They’ll be joined by two other newcomers on SNL’s 48th season: Michael Longfellow and Devon Walker.
Hernandez graduated from John Carroll University in 2019 and worked at the Accidental Comedy Festival and Hilarities at Pickwick & Frolic, both in Cleveland, prior to moving back to his hometown of Miami. A comedian, writer, actor and content creator of Cuban and Dominican descent., he has over 340,000 followers on TikTok and was selected as a Just for Laughs New Face of Comedy in 2022.
The four additions will help fill the void created by the departures of seven cast members over the summer. Melissa Villaseñor, Alex Moffat, Aristotle Athari, Aidy Bryant, Kate McKinnon, Kyle Mooney and Pete Davidson each left the series following the show’s 47th season.
