A Saskatoon woman faces charges after approaching a three\u002Dyear\u002Dold boy and then pulling a knife on his father in a Regina business Thursday.

“The victim immediately left the business with his son,” a news release from the Regina Police Service said. “He stated he saw the female leave the business in a cab.” Police were able to locate the woman and arrested her without incident. Charged with assault with a weapon, the woman was released on conditions and will make her first court appearance in Provincial Court on Oct. 17.
