AIMS has been in the works for the past two years as the province tries to modernize the payroll and scheduling system for health-care staff. It had said there were 82 non-integrated systems with “no provincial standards.”Article content The organization provides province-wide shared services, like payroll, scheduling and employee benefits.

Despite these issues, the organization said the province still needs to address aging systems and improve the integration of payroll programs. AIMS will proceed at some time in the future, it added, but only when “there is confidence that issues have been resolved.”
