The Duchess of York opened up about her breast cancer journey on the Loose Women panel this week as she revealed her biggest fear during the treatment.
The Duchess of York made her debut appearance on Loose Women where she urged other women to not miss their mammogram screenings.
The 64-year-old underwent an eight-hour single mastectomy operation and reconstruction earlier this year, OK! reports. During her visit, Fergie was dressed in a long, pink leather-style coat and was given her own personalised Loose Women mug.Sarah replied with a joke: "I am very pleased. I quite enjoy being a Loose Woman".
"Eighteen months before, it wasn't there so it had come on from the last mammogram to this mammogram.She also got candid about her fears that she may have cancer in other parts of her body which she says wakes her up in the middle of the night. The NHS Breast Screening Programme invites anyone registered with a GP as a female aged 50-71 for their screening every three years.
Royals latest news "It's also important that women of all ages are aware of their breast health and know how to check themselves for possible signs of cancer this means getting to know how your breasts look and feel at different times and telling your doctor straight away if you notice any unusual changes."
