Trying to escape the animals, she accidentally stepped into the road and was a struck by a car, police said.To complete the nightmarish scene, the person who hit her drove off, leaving the injured woman to fend for herself.SAPD is on the lookout for a white vehicle believed to belong to the hit-and-run driver.
