Two motorcyclists have been hospitalized after losing control during a race Saturday and sliding across multiple lanes.
At 11:15 a.m., during a race on Babcock Road, a motorcyclist driving a Yamaha motorcycle at a high rate of speed when he lost control and slid across two lanes, according to San Antonio Police.
The driver of the Yamaha struck another motorcyclist in a Suzuki motorcycle, causing the second driver to lose control and slide on the roadway. Upon the arrival of authorities, the first driver was found unconscious with life-threatening injuries. Both 24-year-old men have been transported to an area hospital for treatment. According to SAPD, the second driver is in stable condition, while the first driver is in critical condition.
