A San Leandro man killed in an Oakland shooting June 6 that left his wife wounded has been identified.
OAKLAND — A 36-year-old San Leandro man killed in an East Oakland shooting June 6 that left his wife wounded was identified by police Thursday as Zamar Williams.Williams and his 34-year-old wife were shot about 11:11 p.m. while they were outside in the 10000 block of MacArthur Boulevard, a mixture of residences and businesses.Police are still trying to determine if the couple were intended targets or were hit by stray bullets.
Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $15,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the suspect. Anyone with information may call police at 510-238-3821 or 510-238-7950 or Crime Stoppers at 510-777-8572.
