Tech firm expects to cut 300 jobs in the U.S. The move comes as it faces a possible delisting of its stock from the Nasdaq exchange.
Self-driving semi-truck outfit TuSimple Holdings said Thursday that it would cut 300 additional jobs in the U.S. as it reduces costs in the face of a potential delisting of its stock from the Nasdaq exchange.
It’s unclear how many San Diego workers will be let go in this new round of layoffs. TuSimple executives are putting the final details on the restructuring this week, according to a spokeswoman. The company previously said was exploring strategic alternatives for its Asia subsidiaries. It operates under a technology control national security agreement that is monitored by the Committee for Foreign Investment in the United States, or CFIUS.
