National Hispanic Heritage Month event features an array of programs for all ages at various city libraries
The San Diego Public Library is celebrating the rich heritage, history and culture of the region’s Latin American and Indigenous communities with a series of events over the next month.
Library officials recognize that there is deeply rooted pride in heritage and that self-identities are important, unique and may change over time.The month-long celebration aims to celebrate that heritage with storytimes, games and activities, film screenings, as well as recommended reading and listening lists from the library’s English and Spanish collections.
