San Antonio's Noah Grey created the first open-source blogging site. Now he's pleading for help to save his home.
“I’m telling you this because my home is where I’m safest and with the best chance to keep recuperating,” Grey said. “My home is where I manage living with my disabilities every day, slowly managing and healing with the help of my doctors and above all my sister’s tremendous care. The house is adapted to my needs … and I cannot leave it.”
He added, “I am begging. I’m pleading. I can’t endure this. I can’t. I would not be here to write this without my home and without my sister.” Grey’s plea for help has so far raised $24,186 as of Friday afternoon. He has also received an outpouring of support from notable figures.:"I coded my first blog in 2000 with Greymatter. If it weren’t for Noah, I might not have had a career in web development. He was always helpful and patient with my beginner questions back then. Please throw down some $ if you are able.”
