The Samsung Galaxy Book3 Ultra has all the style of a MacBook Pro and serious gaming grunt to boot
Where Samsung will likely struggle to match the MacBook Pro is on battery life and the blissful silence of its day-to-day operation.
It will be nothing short of miraculous if Samsung can match that. The Intel processors and a dedicated GPU will doubtless require more power and generate more heat than Apple’s integrated equivalents. The Galaxy Book3 Ultra’s battery is also restricted to 76Wh, compared to the 100Wh battery inside the 16in MacBook Pro. I can’t imagine you’ll want to be too far from the slender 100W USB Type-C power adapter.
The Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 is a convertible laptop with a 16in screen that folds flat against the base to create a tablet. It weighs 1.7kg, which is certainly nowhere near as light as an iPad, but it doesn’t feel unduly weighty when used in tablet mode either.
