A 26-year-old man received non-life threatening injuries from being shot Tuesday night in Salt Lake City.
SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake City police are investigating a shooting that left a 26-year-old man with non-life-threatening injuries.
Just before 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to the area of 900 West and 1000 North on a report of a shooting. They arrived to find a 26-year-old man had been shot. Other details about the man's injuries were not released Wednesday by police. The man was taken to a local hospital in serious condition. Police conducted a "large search" of the area but did not find the alleged gunman.
Investigators believe the two men were previously acquainted and had possibly been arguing over "personal property," police said in a prepared statement Wednesday.
