New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara was arrested for battery resulting in substantial bodily harm — a felony — by Las Vegas police Sunday following the NFL Pro Bowl.

Officers were dispatched to the hospital, where they determined Kamara was the suspect. However, Kamara participated in the Pro Bowl on Sunday and recorded four catches for 23 yards.The 26-year-old Kamara just completed his fifth season with the team, recording 898 rushing yards and 439 receiving yards. He’s made the Pro Bowl every year of his career, and was NFL Rookie of the Year in 2017. He signed a five-year, $75 million contract extension in 2020.
