Ryanair is advising travellers to arrive at least three hours in advance if they are departing from Majorca.
The Spanish Balearic island is a popular tourist destination, and many people are expected to travel to Majorca for Easter bank holidays and school holidays. However, those returning from Palma Airport may face disruption due to ongoing maintenance work. Jet2 has issued a warning to customers, stating that they are working with the airport to minimise the disruption. They said: "Due to the increased number of passengers travelling over the Easter period, and the expected congestion at the security checkpoint, we advise all passengers to arrive three hours prior to departure and proceed through the security checkpoint as early as possible. "Ryanair check-in desks will be open from three hours prior to departure.
