The job advertisement went live yesterday to work with Michael Shanks MP as his constituency office manager.
Michael Shanks was sworn in as the MP for the area earlier this month after winning a by-election triggered when thousands of constituents signed a recall petition to remove their former representative Margaret Ferrier after she was found to have broken Covid regulations.

The office manager will be responsible for managing his busy constituency diary and will assist with local meetings, surgeries, and events, as well as engaging with constituents and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate is said to have experience of running an office. Ideally the candidate will be an experienced people manager, able to use initiative and work under minimal supervision whilst raising issues with the MP as and when necessary.
