CBS News also reported that Gutierrez-Reed will plead not guilty to the two counts of involuntary manslaughter charges.On June 22, prosecutors filed a new charge against Gutierrez-Reed: tampering with evidence. She had been previously charged with one count of involuntary manslaughter.
In a statement to ET, Gutierrez-Reed's lawyer, Jason Bowles, questioned how prosecutors were able to get"a secret witness" to appear 20 months later.
