Russian singer Sharman pretended to set off a nuclear bomb as part of his act Russian pop singer Shaman simulated setting off a nuclear bomb at a concert broadcast on state TV. While singing his song ‘I am Russian,’ the 31-year-old pushed a red button inside a briefcase before fireworks erupted behind him. Shaman, whose real name is Yaroslav Dronov, is a Putin favourite, publicly supporting the war with Ukraine, rallying Russians to the flag, and performing for soldiers in annexed territory.
One said: ‘Does anyone really think this is cool or fun? ‘What is going through the minds of people who approved such a performance? Is nuclear war funny now?’ Another stated: ‘Epic, of course, but, in my opinion, it’s too much. ‘The situation is already at the limit, and we have such jokes.’ A third wrote: ‘Kim Jong-un, looking at this, also decided to organise a concert.
