Russell Brand is yet to respond to the latest allegations but has previously denied “serious criminal allegations” and said his relationships “were absolutely, always consensual” in July 2010, before following her into a bathroom and sexually assaulting her.
She claimed he then exposed his genitals to her in full view of the cast and crew. The woman also alleged Mr Brand followed her into a bathroom later that day and assaulted her as “a member of production crew guarded the door from outside”. Court documents also claimed the anonymous woman “continues to struggle with the resultant trauma”, with her lawyers applying to conceal her identity to minimise the harm she has already suffered.The woman, referred to as Jane Doe in court filings, is reported to be seeking unspecified damages from the British actor and performer.
