Media tycoon Rupert Murdoch has announced his engagement to his girlfriend Elena Zhukova, 67, with the pair set to tie the knot this summer at his grand California estate.
Rupert Murdoch, 92, is set to tie the knot with his 67-year-old girlfriend Elena Zhukova. The former FOX chairman and his partner, who have a significant 30-year age gap, are planning their wedding for this summer.
The media tycoon's engagement was called off just two weeks after it was announced. Although Rupert never publicly shared the reason for the split, a source told Vanity Fair that he had concerns about her evangelical views. Rupert first got married in 1956 when he was 25 years old to Patricia Booker, with whom he had his first child in 1958. He later married Anna Maria Torv in 1967, Wendi Deng in 1999, and Jerry Hall in 2016.
