A former rugby league player will be taking 70 underprivileged children to Disneyland Paris and handing out free toys.
Mickii is working closely with local charities to determine which families are in need and will use the profits he makes from his business, Tipsy Cows in Great Harwood, to fund trips and toys.Mickii, who ran Mickii Edwards Weight Loss Academy in Oswaldtwistle, said: “I could be using my money to drive around in a Range Rover Sport, but that’s not me. Every kid knows my name and when they see me they give me a hug. I have gotten to know families really well.
“You can tell some children don’t have anything, not even shoes that fit them. I grew up when there was the miners’ strike so I was one of those kids. He raised more than £7,500 worth of toys and fashion brand Boohoo, in Burnley, donated £2,000 worth of clothes last year.
