Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman has admitted he thinks Virgil van Dijk could improve his leadership skills.
However, despite winning every major honour during his time at Anfield, he has been regularly criticised back in his homeland since returning from a serious ACL injury in 2021. Sidelined for nine months, the 32-year-old would miss out on captaining the Dutch at the delayed European Championships the following summer as a result.
