Kris Bryant’s first season with the Rockies has been a pain for the All-Star left fielder.
On Monday, prior to Colorado’s series-opener at San Diego, Bryant was placed on the injured list because of plantar fasciitis in his left foot. Manager Bud Black told reporters in San Diego that Bryant also has a bruised left foot.
Black said that after consulting with team doctors and head trainer Keith Dugger, the team decided that the best course of action was to put Bryant on the IL.
