Rockets forward Tari Eason is on the minicamp roster for summer league but it is unclear how much he will play in Las Vegas.The Rockets this weekend thinned their collection of players taken in recent first rounds of the draft, but the top players picked up in the past two drafts were listed on Monday on their summer league minicamp roster.
Jabari Smith Jr. and Tari Eason, the Rockets first two picks last year, and Amen Thompson and Cam Whitmore, their two first-round selections last month, were listed as participants in this week’s minicamp prior to the start of summer league play on Friday in Las Vegas.
The Rockets’ two two-way players, Darius Days and Trevor Hudgins, who signed their qualifying offers last week to return to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers and Rockets rosters, were also on the summer league roster for a second-consecutive season.
