Police issued a warning Saturday morning after receiving reports of 18 overdoses within 12 hours from Friday night into Saturday morning. Police suspect the six deaths could be connected to fentanyl laced within illegal drugs that the victims weren’t expecting. Narcan, the brand name for naloxone, “is a medication designed to rapidly reverse the effects of a life-threatening opioid emergency and is the standard treatment for opioid overdose.”to be sold over-the-counter.
