A man was found fatally shot in his vehicle Wednesday in the city’s sixth homicide of the year, authorities said.
In limited details, a police spokesman said that officers were investigating a fatal shooting that happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 500 block of South 12th Street.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds in a vehicle. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity was not available, pending identification through the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office coroner’s division.
