The new Star Wars movie with Rey Skywalker as the lead character reportedly has a title, summary, and shooting date.
The Star Wars Skywalker saga finished in 2019 with the ninth episode of the saga. The sequel trilogy began in 2015 with Star Wars: The Force Awakens, starring Daisy Ridley as Rey. It was recently announced that Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy would direct a new movie featuring Rey as the lead character.been titled Star Wars: New Jedi Order. The synopsis reads, “Set roughly 15 years after Rey’s victory over Palpatine and the end of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
The sequel delves into Rey’s courageous endeavor to restore the Jedi Order, where she assumes the role of a mentor to two promising young students—a girl and a boy.
