New restaurant with European twist set to open in beautiful Sherwood location
There are plans in place to open a new restaurant, bar and event space at the Polish Community Centre on Sherwood Rise next to the Church of our Lady of Czestochowa. The new restaurant, called Bread and Wine is set to open on Monday, August 1 with an exciting new menu.
Krzysztof will be the head chef of the restaurant and he has extensive experience as the couple also owns the popular Polish bistro, Kurna Chata in Sneinton. There will be a difference in cuisine at both places with the new restaurant offering a modern mix of Polish fusion food while taking inspiration from other cultures such as British or French.
Agnieszka also highlighted that the church and community centre have seen great changes over the years due to the hard work of Father Krzysztof Kawczynski. They feel they are building on the good work that the priest has done for the local community. The beautiful church and grounds have been restored and kept in excellent condition including the stunning stained glass windows throughout the buildings.
