Some said they were looking forward to getting the Big Fang Collective venue but others wanted Aldi to return
Residents have expressed their opinions about what they would like to see in the former Aldi building on Huntingdon Street in Nottingham city centre. A crazy golf company has recently been granted permission to display signs on the building, indicating they will be opening in the old supermarket.
Residents have now expressed their views on the plans. Mya Ingiam, a Nottingham student, said she welcomes the idea of a new entertainment venue. However, not all residents are happy about the plans, saying a supermarket would be more 'handy' for the area. Sara Miller, who has lived in the Glasshouse student accommodation above the former Aldi for over three years said she would be much happier for the German retailer to make a return.
