Despite it being Scotland's largest city, 17 per cent of residents in the area say that they don't have a single close friend according to the results of a poll which had 10,000 responses.
Residents living in Glasgow North East are said to be the 'loneliest in Scotland', according to a poll examining social isolation and belonging in the UK.
