The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a pilot and three workers missing from helicopter crash in the Gulf of Mexico miles offshore Southwest Pass, LA.
The U.S. Coast Guard spent hours Thursday searching the waters off Louisiana for four people on board a helicopter that crashed while departing an oil platform.
"We are still searching for all four of them," Hernandez said at around 3:20 p.m. "We haven't found anyone." Hernandez said the oil platform is operated by Houston-based Walter Oil and Gas. The Associated Press reached out to a spokesperson for the company, who was not immediately available for comment.
