Report: Spurs waived Primo after he exposed himself to team psychologist
Dr. Hillary Cauthen, who has accused Josh Primo of sexual misconduct, was hired by the Spurs in 2021.Sources close to Primo insisted he never intentionally exposed himself, TMZ.com reported.
The sources said, “If anything was visible at any time, it was strictly a wardrobe malfunction resulting from laying down on a couch in basketball shorts,” TMZ.com reported. Shortly after he was released, Primo released a statement to ESPN in which he said he was “seeking help to deal with previous trauma” he suffered and would be taking time to “focus on my mental health treatment more fully.”
The Spurs have repeatedly declined to comment since issuing a four-page release on Friday night that announced they had cut the 2021 lottery pick.
