. The plane, a twin-engine Beechcraft Baron 58, crashed shortly after takeoff from Lubbock Executive Airpark. The plane caught on fire and the pilot, later identified as 26-year-old Tyler Blake Christie of Lavon, was unable to escape.. Michael D.
