Remote work will be a legacy of pandemic; job losses may not be over, Conference Board survey finds
Companies expect an increased portion of their workforce to remain working remotely even after the pandemic passes, according to a Conference Board survey released Wednesday of 152 human capital executives.
Additional workforce cost reductions are more likely in organizations that employ mostly industry and manual services workers. Workers who can do their jobs from home are being forced to do so by the coronavirus, and many of these workers feel fortunate, even if they feel that they are working harder.pandemic.
