The Reds have had a terrible season for their high standards with Jurgen Klopp’s side currently sitting seventh in the Premier League tableMidfield has been one of a number of problems for Liverpool this season with Klopp’s team lacking intensity and quality at times this term.
“A couple of players – Fabinho looks like for some reason he’s gone over the edge, he’s only twenty-nine. Maybe they need to find a young defensive midfield player, find someone to fill that void. But I still feel Liverpool will get in the top four and I also believe that next year they’ll be challenging again.”
And Redknapp predicted that “erratic” Liverpool midfielder Keita would be substituted at half-time in their draw against Palace on Saturday.
