Tickets are expected to sell out

The fan favoruite jets will feature at this year's Southport Air Show, organiser Sefton Council has confirmed. Others on the lineup for the annual event include the deafening Typhoon and a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

Thousand of aviation lovers and visitors are expected to descend on the resort for the event with tickets now on sale. The event takes place on September 9-10.

“Bring a picnic and sit on the beach, or park on the beach if you arrive early enough. There are plenty of ground attractions that will keep the kids entertained all weekend and once the flying programme ends each day, Southport town centre has plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy.” The news comes one day after the council confirmed the long awaited re-opening of the Splash World attraction. That opens tomorrow for the first time since 2019.
