Waiting list for routine care up from 6.4 million in March, with 323,000 people waiting more than a year
waiting to start routine hospital treatment has risen to a new record high.England said.The number of people having to wait more than 52 weeks to start hospital treatment in England stood at 323,093 in April, up from 306,286 the previous month.
