King Charles and Queen Camilla were apparently concerned that the spelling of Kate Middleton's first name would cause confusion so asked her to change it, according to Prince Harry
King Charles and Queen Camilla wanted Kate Middleton to change the way she spelt her name when she joined the Royal Family, Prince Harry claimed.
The Duke of Sussex further claimed that his brother, Prince William, remained "inexpressive" upon hearing the proposal for Princess Kate to change the spelling of her name. Harry and Meghan’s relationship with members of the Royal Family has been strained since the couple decided to step back from senior royal duties in 2020.
