Rare Rangers items are to go under the hammer at auction in Glasgow.

A season book from 1876/77 and medals won by three Ibrox legends will be amongst the top lots in an auction of sporting memorabilia at McTear's next week.

The auction will feature a number of other important items including Ibrox legend Jim Baxter’s ‘Greatest Team Jersey’, which could fetch £12,000. Other lots include Jim Baxter’s 1963 Scottish League Cup winner’s medal which was awarded to the player following Rangers 5-0 over Greenock Morton, boasting a price tag of £3,000 to £5,000.
