The Dark Blues revealed earlier this morning that they had contacted the SPFL to carry out checks on their home turf due to recent rainfall in the area.
Rangers' clash against Dundee has been postponed after a failed pitch inspection due to harsh weather conditions, as hundreds of fans make their way to Dens Park.
The announcement comes after two Dens Park pitch inspections. A local match official took to the surface at 9.15am but asked for extra time to make further checks with match official Don Robertson keen to cast his own eye as he made his way to the ground. That second check took place at 10.15am and after a further look over he has decided the game will NOT go ahead.
It's the fourth time this season fixtures at Dens Park have fallen foul of the weather with call offs against the likes of Aberdeen and St Johnstone earlier this season. Gers wrote on X.com: "Rangers sympathises with our supporters as we appreciate many will already be en-route to Dundee.""The club will make further comment in due course."
