ARLINGTON — The Texas Rangers activated Ezequiel Duran from the injured list on Saturday, and in a corresponding move, placed infielder Brad Miller on the 10-day injured list with a right oblique strain.

He took batting practice on Saturday — the first day that he was eligible to return from the injured list — prior to his activation.Duran will play left field on Saturday vs. the Seattle Mariners and hit eighth in the lineup. Rangers manager Bruce Bochy said that Duran — who’d started four games in left field prior to his injury — won’t necessarily be Texas’ everyday left fielder.
