Former New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will make his Super Bowl debut Sunday with the Los Angeles Rams.
TMZ Sports is told ... 43-year-old Dominic Tafuri is a former MMA fighter and current officer with the Essex County Department of Corrections in NJ. Dominic also worked for Odell’s go-to guy for bling, Gabriel the Jeweler ... delivering pieces to some of the biggest athletes around the world -- fromAccording to TMZ, doctors found Tafuri had Stage 4 lymphoma recently while he underwent ACL surgery. As the story goes, Gabriel the Jeweler reached out to Beckham to help raise Tafuri’s spirits.
“Dominic, what’s going on, man? OBJ here, bro. Just wanted to reach out to you, send some love your way. Just stay encouraged, man. Stay prayed up, man. Just know I’m praying for you, and just wanted to send some love, bro. Stay up.”has been set up to help Tafuri and his family. The goal is to raise $100,000. As of Monday morning, it has raised close to that: $98,802.
Dominic Tafuri is a Lieutenant at the Essex County Department of Corrections and father to Dominic, Cristina and Matt. Dominic was an MMA fighter and is now fighting his toughest battle today. He was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 of an aggressive Lymphoma cancer in December and will be getting chemo treatments over the next several months.
Dominic is in good spirits and just finished his second round of chemo. We’re asking for many prayers, positivity and any contributions you can give to help support him and his family through this difficult time.
