Rams add QB Baker Mayfield from waiver wire

The former No. 1 overall pick was waived by the Carolina Panthers on Monday and claimed by the Rams on Tuesday

Quarterback Baker Mayfield is headed to Los Angeles.

Mayfield was released Monday by the Carolina Panthers. He might be available to play in the Rams’ Thursday game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
