RailPros has hired about 100 employees so far this year and intends to hire another 100.

Today, the company has more than 900 employees and intends to hire 200 by the end of this year. Koff declined to disclose revenue but said the company has a 30% compounded annual growth rate dating back to 2005.
"There is a fair amount of activity that needs to be done on America's right-of-ways regardless of whether there's a high demand for traffic and intermodal is at all-time highs, or whether there's a downturn," Koff said. The largest amount of hiring — about 50 positions — will occur in the company's safety services group, which includes professional flagmen, Koff said.
Koff said the potential playing field includes more than 80 transit, light rail and commuter agencies across the U.S.
